Plastic Moulds Apply to: Echo Pop  Plastic Components


### 1. **Outer Shell (Housing)**
   - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) or Polycarbonate (PC)
   - **Reason:** ABS is commonly used for outer housings due to its rigidity, impact resistance, and cost-effectiveness. Polycarbonate may be used for its better heat resistance and sleek appearance in premium finishes.

### 2. **Speaker Grill**
   - **Material:** Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) or Polypropylene (PP)
   - **Reason:** ASA offers excellent UV resistance, which helps prevent discoloration, and is often used in speaker grills. Polypropylene is chosen for its flexibility and ease of molding, especially in finely detailed mesh designs.

### 3. **Buttons**
   - **Material:** Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) or Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
   - **Reason:** TPE is used when soft-touch buttons are preferred for tactile feedback and comfort. ABS is used for more rigid button designs due to its durability and ease of customization.

### 4. **Microphone Housing**
   - **Material:** Polycarbonate (PC) or Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT)
   - **Reason:** PC is commonly used for precision-molded components like the microphone housing to ensure clarity and durability. PBT provides good electrical insulation and thermal resistance.

### 5. **LED Light Ring Cover**
   - **Material:** Polycarbonate (PC) or Transparent Acrylic (PMMA)

### 6. **Internal Structural Components**
   - **Material:** Polyphenylene Oxide (PPO) or Polypropylene (PP)

### 7. **Power Cable and Port Housing**

### 8. **Base**

   - **Reason:** ABS or PC provides a sturdy base structure, while a rubberized material such as TPE or silicone is often added to the bottom for grip and stability on surfaces.

   - **Material:** Polycarbonate (PC) or Polyamide (Nylon)
   - **Reason:** PC or Nylon can be used for heat dissipation parts or small vents due to their heat-resistant properties, ensuring proper airflow without compromising the structure.
